Terrie Plowman
After gaining a teacher's qualification in Physical Education, I taught in a Secondary school for the whole of my career. One of my highlights was a school sports exchange to Ohringen, near Stuttgart, Germany that I organized for over 25 years. I loved the hospitality of the German people. Subsequently, I instigated the formal twinning of Ohringen with my home village.
I gained a B.A. Degree whilst teaching full time and taught some English, French and German. Languages have always interested me.
I needed a new challenge after retiring early and subscribed to The Writers Bureau Creative Writing Course. I completed the course after two years and loved every minute.
Now I spend my time writing fiction and non-fiction, playing golf and travelling, mainly to Spain several times a year, but also to America and South Africa.
I have had a variety of articles, ranging from garden birds to handbags, published in British magazines.
I have two seal point Birman cats and an article about Birmans has been published by Your Cat magazine.
I've had various short pieces published in Chat Magazine, Take a Break, Yours, that's life and Full House.
